Signs and Symptoms of Illness and Injury February 2020

Description

For service providers of San Andreas Regional Center only.

Learn or review the importance of knowing the baseline condition of the people you serve, as well as what to do when you notice something out of the ordinary. Discussion of difference between routine, urgent, and emergency situations. Discussion of some common signs and symptoms seen by direct support professionals.

Class time is 9:30 am – 12:30 pm.   Doors close at 9:40!

Maximum of 3 people can attend per facility.  Please enter name of each person attending when you register! Bring the ticket printout or show us the confirmation email on your phone/tablet.

Please remind staff that they are registered to attend!

Bring a pen or pencil and your glasses to class.  Okay to bring a drink and/or snack. You may want to bring a sweater or jacket.

Take elevators to 2nd floor and wait in the lobby until check-in time. No need to sign in at Reception Desk.

Must pass the test with 80% score in order to receive certificate. 3 CEUs.

Getting to the office: From Hwy 85 take Great Oaks Blvd south, turn right at San Ignacio, then turn right at first driveway.

Bus line 42 drops you off in front of building.
