The dates for the class are May 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd\, 2023. You must attend all three classes. \nThe Residential Services Orientation will take place in person at the San Andreas Regional Center San Jose office. \nTo be registered you must complete the following items: \n\n\n\nRegister (registration link can be found at the bottom of the post)\nSend a letter of intent to Ruby Hernandez at rhernandez@sarc.org and Gabriela Alvarez at galvarez@sarc.org in a separate word document (letters of intent sent as emails will not be accepted).\nSend a resume to Ruby Hernandez at rhernandez@sarc.org and Gabriela Alvarez at galvarez@sarc.org in a separate word document (resumes sent as emails will not be accepted).\nSend a copy of your Community Care Licensing (CCL) administrator certificate to Ruby Hernandez at rhernandez@sarc.org and Gabriela Alvarez at galvarez@sarc.org\nSend a copy of your Direct Support Professional (DSP) training year 1 and 2 certificates to Ruby Hernandez at rhernandez@sarc.org and Gabriela Alvarez at galvarez@sarc.org\n\nThe letter of intent must include: (if any question is not answered\, it will result in automatic denial)\n\n\n\nWhy do you want to become a residential provider?\nWhat is your background and experience that prepared you for this position?\nWhat steps have you taken with CCL (Community Care Licensing)?\nPlease describe the level of service you wish to provide.\nHow will HCBS Final Rule impact the way you are going to provide services?\n\n\n\n\nPlease conduct a grammar and spell check to your letter of intent. We will not accept any letters of intent or registrations after 11:59pm\, Friday\, April 14\, 2023. \nThere are no waitlists. The next Residential Services Orientation will be on August 7th\, 8th\, and 9th\, 2023. Registration will be open in mid-June\, and you will find the registration post in the month of August on SARC’s events calendar. \n\n\nOnly two individuals per agency unless previously approved by the Community Services Unit Manager\, Ann Sieber. \n\n\nBy the end of day Friday\, April 21\, 2023\, you will be receiving a confirmation letter or denial letter via email confirming whether or not you are in the class. Along with the confirmation letters will be instructions on getting into the building/signing in\, and schedule of the presenters. \n*NOTE: If we have less than 5 registrants\, the May RSO will be canceled. Any registrants who were approved to attend will be automatically added to the list for the August RSO. You will not need to sign up again or resubmit any documents. \n*DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING COVID SYMPTOMS

The CFSNV will be conducted in person at SARC’s San Jose office. Successful completion of the CFSNV is one of the requirements for vendorization as a Coordinated Family Support provider. \nTo register for the CFSNV\, please complete each of the following items by no later than 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday\, April 26\, 2023: \n\n Register for the CFSNV using the link found at the bottom of this post.\n Send an email to Kai Reade at kreade@sarc.org that contains the following attachments in support of your request for admission to the CFSNV:\n\n\nA Letter of Intent that explains:\n\n(1) why you are interested in providing Coordinated Family Support services to SARC-sponsored individuals\,\n(2) your background and experience working with DD individuals\, and\n(3) how you will implement the HCBS Final Rule in providing services to SARC-sponsored individuals.\n\n\nYour updated resume.\nA request for language interpretation for the orientation\, specifying the language needed.\n\nEach of the described documents must be sent as a separate Word or pdf attachment to your email.
