SUMMARY:Pressure Injury Prevention and Skin Care
DESCRIPTION:For service providers of San Andreas Regional Center only. \nLearn the basics about the body’s largest organ– the skin.  Information on normal skin\, how skin gets damaged\, how to prevent damage\, and treatment of pressure injuries (“bedsores”) will be presented. \n Class time is 9:30 am – 12:30 pm.   Doors close at 9:40! \nMaximum of 3 people can attend per facility.  Please enter name of each person attending when you register! Bring the ticket printout or show us the confirmation email on your phone/tablet. \nPlease remind staff that they are registered to attend! \nBring a pen or pencil and your glasses to class.  Okay to bring a drink and/or snack. You may want to bring a sweater or jacket. \nTake elevators to 2nd floor and wait in the lobby until check-in time. No need to sign in at Reception Desk. \nMust pass the test with 80% score in order to receive certificate. 3 CEUs. \nGetting to the office: From Hwy 85 take Great Oaks Blvd south\, turn right at San Ignacio\, then turn right at first driveway.  Please allow yourself enough time to get through traffic.\n \nBus line 42 drops you off at San Ignacio and Great Oaks. \nWhere can I contact the organizer with any questions? \nIf you have any questions please contact Sandy at 408-341-3475 or by email sandy@sarc.org
