DESCRIPTION:Learn about the Special Incident Report process–part of your responsibility as a Regional Center vendor\, per Title 17 regulations.  \nWhat is a special incident\, review of types of incidents\, how to download and complete the form\, how to follow up\, importance of communication.\nClass time is 9:30 am – 12:30 pm.   Doors close at 9:40!\nPlease remind staff that they are registered to attend! \nTake elevators to 2nd floor and wait in lobby. No need to sign in at Reception desk.\nBring a pen or pencil and your glasses to class. Bring a snack and a drink if you’d like.  A vending machine is available for purchase of snacks and drinks if you prefer. \nMust pass the test with 80% score in order to receive certificate. 3 CEUs \nMaximum of 3 people can attend per facility.  Please enter name of each person attending when you register! DESCRIPTION:For service providers of San Andreas Regional Center only.\nLearn how food gets from our mouth to our stomach\, and some of the problems that can happen when that process does not work correctly.  Video of normal and abnormal swallows.  Hands-on practice with “Thick-It\,” a substance that modifies fluids for a person with a swallowing disorder. \nRegistration is limited to 3 people per facility in order to make sure there is enough space for all who want to attend. \nPlease remind staff when they are scheduled to attend! \nMust pass the test with an 80% score in order to receive the certificate. 3 CEU’s \nClass time is 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.  Doors close at 9:40!\nBring ticket printout with you\, or show us the email on your phone or tablet. \nTake elevators to 2nd floor and wait quietly in the elevator lobby until check-in time.
