DESCRIPTION:Vendor Training: Dementia and I/DD \nLearn about the normal brain aging process compared to dementia. Signs and symptoms\, diagnosis\, how to recognize when there might be a problem and management of the condition in the I/DD population. \nThis is a 3 hour in-person class at the SARC San Jose Office. \nCertificate for 3 Continuing Education Units will be available upon completion of the class and passing the post-test with 80% correct. \nSpace is limited- 20 people maximum at this time. \n2 people per facility to allow for more agencies to attend. \n*Register each person separately \nDate: Friday December 9th   Time: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm \nPlease arrive no later than 9:15 for COVID symptom screening. Park in east lot (not San Ignacio) and enter through the “back” door. \nTake an at-home antigen test before you come. Bring a photo of the results and bring your vaccination card (photo or ecard is ok).
