DESCRIPTION:For service providers of San Andreas Regional Center only.\nAll day class (5 hours\, plus 1/2 hour for lunch break).\nLearn the standard of practice for assisting an individual with self-administration of medications.  Training is based on the DSP (direct support professional) training by DDS.  Introduction to safe practices in Community Care Facilities to help keep people healthy in regards to their medications. \nMust pass the test with an 80% score in order to receive the certificate.   5 CEUs for this class. \nBring a pen or pencil.  Bring your lunch and a drink or cash to purchase snacks from vending machine.  \nYou may need a sweater or jacket.  Wear your glasses if you need them! \nMaximum of three people per facility/agency to attend any one class in order to leave space for others.
